Recreational/SCUBA Diver

So you've decided you want to learn to dive! The next step is to sign up at Diver's Cove, an accredited NAUI SCUBA shop to learn the basic skills needed to be a safe. Members of NAUI, National Association of Underwater Instructors, have been training people since 1959! NAUI has the highest training standards in the diving industry, which means not only will you be having a great time exploring a new underwater world, but you will learn from highly skilled instructors. SCUBA diver is only the beginning to a world of adventure. In this course, you will learn about your equipment, how to dive safely, protecting the environment you dive in, and most of all how to have fun. You will experience the weightlessness of neutral buoyancy and the freedom of exploring open waters.

SCUBA Diver classes begin with classroom work and skill practice in a closed water enviroment - a swimming pool. In the pool, you will practice your skills. To complete your training, the instructor will then accompany you to do your open water dives. Open water dives can be done locally or at a location of your choice.

Also, ask about getting the Dry Suit Diver simultaneouly with your SCUBA certification and save money on your training fees! In addition to having an Adventure Diver course completed, you will be warmer and drier during your mandatory open water certification dives!

The only restrictions to enrolling into a NAUI SCUBA Diver course is the age limit of 12 years old. Many classes are available, but they are filling up quickly! Call today to for a schedule of our upcoming classes.

Our open water classes are as priced as follows:

All classes require mask, fin, snorkel, and boots on first day of classes. These can be purchased during orientation or when you register for the class.

* Open Water Certification dives cost $180 which includes all rental equipment., and Quarry fees may apply.
